Islamic Society and the Challenge of Secularism

For “Islamic Culture” course at Qatar University, we were asked to choose a topic between a list of topics that are considered as challenges to Islam, address the challenge and contribute with a solution. We choose “Islam and Secularism”

In this paper our thesis was that western secularism is appealing to muslim youth because we are living in a conservative secular society which is not consistent with neither Islamic values nor individualistic.

This track was my part on the diagnosis of the challenge and it’s proposed treatment.
